Leeds Carnegie Ladies have withdrawn their application for a place in the groundbreaking Super league set to start in 2010. It is qutie astonishing as the team have made a big impression on the Premier league with their erray of England youth and senior internationals. It will probably see the club lose a large number of their players to the Super league clubs.

The club supported by the Leeds Metropoliatn University ( facilities, coaching, support staff ) had hoped the financial support would continue into next year however the university could not commit to the amount needed to run a club in the Super league.

They will continue to stay and play in the current format of the league which should change next year.
