-Karolina Schmit
Here we are footballgirls the apple in this site if I may say so myself.
My name is Karolina Schmit and I am a fitness coach from Berlin, in the beautiful country of Germany.
My experience of fitness started when I studied in the United States. I was a part of the female volleyball team at my university and could not believe how much time we spent on our pre-season fitness. Then as the season came closer we worked out just as hard in the gym!
In my last year I began taking coaching courses and then when I returned to Duisburg (a small little town) in Germany I began working at a fitness club. I then went on to help my sister’s voetbol team (that’s football in German!) twice a week. I have worked in football now for 8 years and have helped the youth teams gain success in keeping up their fitness levels.
One of my secrets was to spend a summer back in California learning how all the other sports trained. Many of these were very helpful to football especially female football as it becomes much quicker and the players become stronger. So come back often and remember to look after your body when you are playing and not and if you play or not.

..a short job and then a stretch is needed first.
Square year
Objective: To work on change of direction and foot speed.
Take four cones 5 metres/yards apart to make a box with a 5th cone in the middle. Starting at one cone sprint around the outside once then when you get to the original start point run to the middle and touch the final cone.
You can take a rest for 10 seconds before repeating or when you reach the 5th cone, jog to the cone in front and start sprinting again straight away.
NB: Stay low using arm drive. It really works your feet and arms.
ZIG ZAG RUN
