Amecon
The largest and best Volunteer organised convention in Europe.
The convention is a real festival of Japanese animation, comics and culture from artwork, figurines and clothing. From 2004 and held at Leicester University, England Amecon is where the fans, collectors and businesses all meet while having a great time.

Bring + Buy
Here at Amecon you can bring your artwork and collectables and sell them at a price of your choice. These will be brought on Friday and early the next morning ( Saturday ). Everything wonderful from around the world will be for sale from Saturday to Sunday afternoon with anything that is not sold gathered on Sunday late afternoon. For a fee there is a percentage taken off the total sales.
Charity Event
Money is raised to help those out there who are not as fortunate as we all are. A charity is chosen and announced before the event and while you are enjoying the wonderful weekend it is a great thing that you are also able to help others in need.
2007 saw Amecon raise £1,400 for The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) a UK charity campaigning and working in child protection.
Charity Auction
Event where special items are brought in and old with a percentage going towards a charity. The items are very rare and special to true Anime fans and those of you starting a collection, which will last forever. Convention special items – the full amount goes to charity.

Dealers Room
Here is where the big companies come in and produce those rare and great products you have, will be or should be getting. Located in the Charles Wilson Building this is one of the most popular parts of Amecon so get there really early. There are a number of goods to be got.
