NEO is a 100-page monthly magazine published in the UK and Ireland by Uncooked Media that focuses on various aspects of Asian entertainment such as Japanese animation and comic books;

The magazine features anime, manga, video game, film and book review sections that cover books pertaining to Asian entertainment

A monthly tutorial run by Sweatdrop Studios on the basics of creating manga-styled illustrations, and interviews with people involved with Asian entertainment, such as actors like Jackie Chan, bands like The Pillows, An Cafe and Polysics as well as both video game and film producers and directors.

NEO magazine is widely stocked and distributed through several book retailers across the UK and is also available online and through mail order.

Neo Awards
NEO magazine runs yearly awards to celebrate the best of Asian entertainment in the UK. Winners are decided by a poll in which NEO readers are invited to vote.

Voting for the NEO Awards has taken place exclusively online from 2007 onwards. Winners are announced at the London MCM Expo and relevant companies are given a trophy.

To be eligible, products must have been released or have had significant fan activity during the last 12 months - from September to September. This is so that the awards can be handed out at the October MCM Expo.
