U20 EURO - Belarus 2009

 

Portugal’s draw with Norway in October gave them the last place available for the next round. Italy and Germany are the favourites to take the trophy again in July 2009.
Here is the list of the next 24 teams in the race for the EURO U19 finals in Belarus.

The November 19th draw will decide which teams play each other in the final group stage. After that we have the last draw for the finals in Belarus.

These teams will be divided into 6 groups with 4 teams in each group. The 6 top teams qualify for the finals with the last 2 teams being the host nation Belarus and the best 2nd place team.

These game will be played on the 23-28th of April 2009.

Group 1: Norway, Romania, Portugal (best third-place)
Group 2: Austria, Poland
Group 3: Sweden, Wales
Group 4: Spain, Netherlands
Group 5: England, Slovakia
Group 6: Azerbaijan, Finland
Group 7: Republic of Ireland, Iceland
Group 8: Hungary, Russia
Group 9: France, Belgium
Group 10: Denmark, Switzerland
Group 11: Italy (holders), Ukraine
