It was a difficult match for us because we were really struggling with the heat. I think both teams were at a pretty similar level and I'd like to compliment Costa Rica because they played well and put up a real fight.

My team defended well, and the missed penalty proved a real turning point. It was a really good save from our goalkeeper.

I also think bringing on Marina Makanza made a big difference. We've taken an important step towards the quarter-finals.

It's always hard to find the right words after matches like that. We're very disappointed because we didn't get the result we were hoping for. It's very sombre in the dressing room at the moment.

We controlled the game and really believed that we could win it, but France made the most of our mistakes. We had several chances to score but we didn't take them. Still, it was a decent performance. Congratulations to France, they still have a chance of reaching the quarters.
