This stadium has been redesigned for the U20 World Cup with demolishing work starting in early 2008.

The stadium is home to Club de Deportes Nublense. The local club play in their beloved red for courage and the stadium will adopt this colour.

Opening in 1961 with a capacity of 17,500 The Nelson Oyarzun will have state of the art facilities including a new entrance, speaker system and car park.
